Mission

To promote meaningful and experiential educational programmes across SEAZA zoos and aquariums through intentional engagement that raises awareness, connects people to nature and encourages sustainable behaviors.

Goals

• To build and maintain partnerships and network regionally to ensure consistent messaging in educational intent.
• To Improve capacity building through:
  • understanding the needs and challenges of Asian zoo educators;
  • developing better educational tools and strategies to encourage meaningful and intentional engagement; and
  • aligning educational content with SEAZA focal species.
• To empower and inspire new generation of SEAZA members to be active contributors and participants to zoo education.
• To steer SEAZA towards a future where we are a credible resource of zoo and aquarium knowledge in the region and beyond.
